INTEC Launches InSearch Intelligence
INTEC is very pleased to announce that the new InSearch software is now ready for release.
InSearch Intelligence has been designed to run with the new Single Housing Benefit Extract (SHBE). Continuing the development pattern of the ‘intelligence’ brand, InSearch Intelligence is a new advanced version of the already proven InSearch Fraud/Benefits software.
The new InSearch also allows you to import csv/data files from any source within your local authority allowing much more detailed data mining and proactive searches. These could include:
• Specified field searches
(for example, find the same NiNo in numerous databases)
• Generic text searches
(for example, find all records that contain the word ‘smith’)

“In April 2008, the Commission became responsible for inspecting councils’ housing and council tax benefit services. The inspections include an assessment of the arrangements that councils have in place for preventing and detecting benefit fraud. Our early findings suggest...
...there are grounds for concern. These include some councils:
- not taking a proactive approach to fraud investigation”
- The Audit Commission (Protecting the Public Purse- September 2009)
InSearch Intelligence gives you the tools you need to successfully identify and target fraudulent claimants.
